Palo Alto, Calif. – HP’s (NYSE: HPQ) Snapfish, a provider of photo and
video hosting services, announced on Monday that it will acquire Motionbox,
which also offers personal video hosting services.

Financial terms of the
transaction were not disclosed.

Motionbox’s current service will remain online
until Aug. 10, after which time users’ videos will become inaccessible.

Founded
in 2006, Motionbox had to date raised around $17 million, from backers
including Constellation Ventures and Canaan Partners.
