Alviso, Calif. – TiVo (NASD: TIVO) is developing a "whole-home"
digital video recorder for cable TV system operators, Naveen Chopra, the
company’s senior vice president of corporate development and strategy, tells
Light Reading Cable. The company is creating customized software and hardware
for the multi-room DVR system, and has so far signed on Suddenlink
Communications to deploy the system sometime next year.
