Washington – Sports blog network SB Nation has acquired The
Sporting Blog, an online property published by SportingNews, TechCrunch
reported.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
The Sporting Blog
was launched in 2007 by the veteran sports publisher.
Washington-based SB
Nation also on Wednesday announced the launch of a new Tumblr blog, adding to
its network of more than 270 sports blogs.
