Las Vegas – The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is
taking legal action against individuals who post their pay-per-view TV events
for free viewing on live streaming sites.
UFC parent company Zuffa has served
subpoenas to live streaming sites Justin.tv and Ustream.tv, seeking the IP
addresses of users that allegedly uploaded video of UFC events to the services.
Zuffa notes that an unauthorized stream of its UFC 108 pay-per-view event on Jan.
2 attracted 36,000 viewers, while an unauthorized stream of its UFC 110 drew
78,000 viewers.
The company claims that it lost out on $5 million in potential
revenues, had all those viewers paid individually for pay-per-view access.
"I
can’t wait to go after the thieves that are stealing our content," UFC president
Dana White said in a statement. "This is a fight we will not lose."

i think justin tv and other ustream sites are perfect
they are charging a lot of money for ppv so maybe this is time to think about it, the can’t win this fight beacuse of many,many streaming platforms like veetle etc.
