Palo Alto, Calif. – Facebook on Wednesday debuted a new
question-and-answers feature, which lets members pose questions to their
friends as well as the other 500 million users of the site.

Questions feature appears as a button alongside the "Update Status,"
"Add Photos" and "Post Link" buttons on users’ homepages.
After
a question is posted, the asker has the option to add a photo or a poll, and
tag it with a specific topic.
The company noted that questions and answers posted using the new feature will by default be visible to everyone.
