Los Angeles – The Motion Picture Association of America
(MPAA) will not be led by former U.S. Sen. Bob Kerrey, with the studio lobbying
group saying in a statement that it has "agreed to end negotiations
regarding the position of chief executive officer of the MPAA," CNET
News.com reported. TheWrap.com reported in May that Kerrey had won approval
from the studio heads to replace Dan Glickman, who stepped down as head of the
MPAA in January after five years.
