New York – Barnes & Noble (NYSE: BKS) said on Friday that it plans
to expand the in-store displays for its Nook e-book reader device into
"full-service eReading Nook Boutiques," a year after the company
entered the nascent market. The 1,000 square ft. boutiques will include demo
tables and multiple Nooks for trial, in addition to video screens displaying
demos, and more than 100 accessories.
