New York – Digital music subscription service eMusic has
named Adam Klein, formerly president of VideoEgg and a digital executive at
EMI, as its new CEO. Klein replaces Daniel Stein, who will remain chairman of
the company and continue to serve as chief executive of Dimensional Associates,
eMusic’s corporate parent. Meanwhile, the company told All Things D it will
test a cloud-based digital music storage locker service later this year, with
plans to launch to the public in 2011.
