Mountain View, Calif. – Business-focused online social
network LinkedIn announced on Wednesday that it will acquire Pittsburgh-based mSpoke,
a start-up developing content recommendation technology.

Financial terms of the
transaction were not disclosed.

"mSpoke and LinkedIn’s shared focus on
generating relevant content make this acquisition a natural fit for us,"
says Jeff Weiner, CEO of LinkedIn, which counts more than 75 million members.
