Los Angeles – The domain JailBreakMe.com has been blocked at
Apple Stores, after a rash of pranks at the retail locations saw iPhone display
models "jailbroken" using the website, according to published
reports. The process allows users to load software not authorized by Apple (NASD: AAPL) onto
the iPhone, and enables the phone to operate on unauthorized mobile networks.
