New York – IGA Worldwide, the operator of an in-game ad
network, announced on Monday that it has closed a new investment round, led by
T-Venture Funds with participation from previous backers Kreos Capital and Easton
Capital.
The amount raised in the investment round was not disclosed.
"IGA
has streamlined its business model and is now poised for growth," said IGA
chief executive Christian Vry.
"We are aggressively focusing on expanding
our advertising product lineup, game portfolio and global reach for 2010 and
2011."
The New York-based company has run ads inside video games for
brands including 20th Century Fox, Intel, Unilever and McDonald’s.
