Sunnyvale, Calif. – Yahoo (NASD:  YHOO) is close to a deal to acquire
social networking and community site CafeMom for $100 million, All Things D
reported, citing sources.

New York-based CafeMom counts 6.7 million monthly
unique users on its flagship site, and 18.7 million on its network of
affiliated sites.

The company has to date raised around $17 million in
financing, and is reportedly seeing annual revenues of $25-$30 million.

Sources
told All Things D that CafeMom had been looking to sell for $200 million or more,
and that Disney (NYSE: DIS) is among other suitors interested in the company.
