Santa Clara, Calif. – Facebook has reworked how game-related
notifications are spread within users’ News Feeds, using an algorithm to
determine how often users’ interact with certain titles and giving popular ones
more preference, CNET News.com reported. Each game application will also now
feature a new alert counter that lets players know if there are notifications
waiting, or if they must take a certain action within the game.
