Boston – Mocospace, the operator of a mobile social network
with over 14 million users, has raised $3.5 million in a new round of funding
led by Softbank Capital.

Founded in 2005, Boston-based Mocospace offers both a
mobile Web-based platform and various mobile applications for smartphones.

The
company will use the funds to expand social gaming on its platform, where users
currently play 1 million games per month.
