San Francisco – San Francisco and San Jose are the Nos. 1
and 2 most social media-savvy cities in the U.S., according to a new report by
NetProspex.
The 50-city rankings are based on such factors as the number of
social connections made by area employees, as well as their activity across
Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
New York, Austin and Boston rounded out the top
five.
A separate list of Twitter use by city ranks New York, San Francisco and
Washington, D.C. as the top three, with San Jose No. 15.
