Toronto – Kobo on Wednesday introduced its $139 Kobo
Wireless eReader, which adds Wi-Fi connectivity, upgraded hardware, a longer
battery life and sharper screen. Scheduled to ship in October, the device is
available for pre-order today from Kobobooks.com and retail partner Borders (NYSE: BGP),
which will stock the device in its stores. Indigo Books & Music and Walmart
will sell the device in Canada.
