Washington – The U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday
passed a bill that aims to bring closed captioning to Web-based television
rebroadcasts. The Twenty-first Century Communications and Video Accessibility
Act of 2010 previously passed the House, and a new version with a change
introduced by the Senate was approved yesterday. President Obama is expected to
sign the bill before the end of the Congressional session.
