Los Angeles – The 3D joint venture of Sony (NYSE: SNE), Discovery (NASD: DISCA) and
IMAX (NASD: IMAX) on Monday announced an initial list of native 3D programs that will
feature on their first U.S. 3D TV network, slated to launch in 2011. The
content includes Sony’s 3D animated feature, "Cloudy with a Chance of
Meatballs"; IMAX’s "Into the Deep 3D" and "Walking on the
Moon 3D"; several Discovery hour-long programs; and a number of
independently-produced original series.
