Waterloo, Canada – Netflix’s (NASD:  NFLX) streaming video service now
accounts for 20% of all U.S. Internet traffic during peak times, according to a
report from network equipment firm Sandvine. The firm said Netflix’s traffic is
heaviest from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. local time, or the traditional television
"prime time."

Netflix recently launched a streaming-only service in
Canada, and CEO Reed Hastings said this week the company may launch a
streaming-only option in the U.S. by the end of the year.
