London – Streaming music service Spotify has paid out $41
million in royalties to rightsholders in the first eight months of 2010, the
company tells Music Ally. In total, the company has paid out $56 million since
its launch in late 2008. Spotify is currently available in several European
countries, and plans to expand to the U.S. yet this year.
