Washington, DC — The Washington Post said on Monday it has launched
its new flagship app for the iPad that can be accessed free of charge
until mid-February. After that, print subscribers will pay $0
.99/month and non-subscribers $3.99 a month. The app features a
component known as "Live Topics," which aggregates Washington Post
stories, selected headlines from other sources, Facebook comments and
Twitter feeds around the top 3-5 issues of the day.
