San Bruno, Calif. – Google’s (NASD: GOOG) YouTube has released a new
remote control application for Android-based mobile devices, allowing mobile
users to browse the site via a smartphone and view selected videos on their
televisions. The YouTube Remote application links a smartphone with YouTube
Leanback, the version of the site optimized for viewing on a television.
Controls include play, pause, skip forward and back and volume control.
