San Francisco – Mixed Media Labs, the developer of mobile photo alteration
application PicPlz, has raised $5 million in venture capital from Andreessen
Horowitz, The New York Times reported.
San Francisco-based Mixed Media Labs was
founded by Dalton Caldwell, the founder and CEO of social music service imeem
— which sold to MySpace last December.
The nine-month-old company has released
its PicPlz application for iPhone, Android and the Web.
