Alviso, Calif. – TiVo (NASD: TIVO) plans to release an iPad application
that lets users remotely program their digital video recorders and use the
device as a TV remote, GigaOM reports. Expected to launch in the coming weeks,
the free app will feature gesture controls for TV viewing, and enable search
through TiVo’s enhanced programming data.
