Redmond, Wash. – Nintendo announced on Monday that it sold
1.5 million game systems in the U.S. last week, culminating in the Black Friday
holiday shopping season kick-off. That number includes 600,000 Wii consoles and
900,000 combined units in the Nintendo DS line of handhelds.
