Littleton, Mass. – Livewire Mobile, a developer provider of
mobile music and content, announced on Friday that it has acquired FoneStarz
Media Group, an England-based mobile digital storefront and content supplier to
large telecom and media brands.
FoneStarz manages digital content services
through its merchandising and delivery platform for 11 mobile operators in
eight countries around the world.
Littleton, Mass.-based Livewire said it plans
to incorporate the FoneStarz platform into its storefront for mobile operators,
as well as its recently launched direct-to-consumer music service.
