San Diego – Cricket Wireless (NASD:  LEAP), the operator of a mobile
virtual network, on Monday announced plans to introduce the nation’s first unlimited
mobile music download service next year. The $55-per-month Muve Music service
plan will include unlimited nationwide calling on 3G, global texting, picture
and video messaging, and other features in addition to unlimited song and
ringtone downloads.

Songs from all four major labels downloaded by subscribers will
be tethered to the handset, meaning they cannot be transferred to other
devices.

The first handset to support Muve Music will be the Samsung Suede,
which the company is set to introduce at the Consumer Electronics Show next
month.
