Palo Alto, Calif. – Facebook paid $8.5 million to acquire
the FB.com domain name from the American Farm Bureau Federation, Reuters
reported. Facebook announced the purchase on Nov. 15, but did not disclose the
purchase price — which was revealed at Farm Bureau’s annual meeting on
Tuesday.
