Mountain View, Calif. – Google’s (NASD: GOOG) YouTube has begun running
pre-roll ads in front of music videos and select other clips viewed on Android
smartphones, All Things D reports. The several thousand clips included at
outset include music videos from Vevo, as well as clips from YouTube Partners.
The company is not currently generating ad revenue through music videos
streamed on the iPhone.
