Las Vegas – Cricket, the budget wireless service operated by
Leap Wireless, on Thursday announced the launch of Muve Music, its unlimited
mobile music download service, in the Las Vegas market.
At launch, the
$55-per-month service supports the $199 Samsung Suede smartphone, and includes
unlimited calling, text messaging, and 3G mobile Web, in addition to unlimited
ringtones, ringback tones and full-track downloads.
The service features tracks
from all four major record labels.
The company said the service will next
become available in Washington, D.C.; Baltimore; Charlotte; Chicago; Memphis;
Nashville; Knoxville; Phoenix; Tucson; San Diego; Milwaukee; Madison; and
Wichita in February, and in additional markets in the spring.
