Park City, Utah – National Geographic Films has acquired
U.S. distribution rights to "Life in a Day," a film that encompasses
some 1,000 user-generated clips submitted to Google’s (NASD: GOOG) YouTube, according to The
Hollywood Reporter. The film will be released theatrically — as well as via
YouTube — on July 24, and have its world premiere at the Sundance Film
Festival on Thursday.
