New York – Tinychat, the provider of a video messaging platform, has
raised $1.5 million in new funding, TechCrunch reported.
Investors included
Naval Ravikant, Guy Oseary’s A-Grade, Ashton Kutcher, Ron Burkle and Sean
"Diddy" Combs.
Founded in 2009, New York-based Tinychat counts 20 million unique
monthly visitors, and 35,000 peak concurrent users per second for its live
video chat rooms.
TechCrunch reports that the company is also "closing in
on an even larger financing round at a hefty valuation."
