Stockholm, Sweden – Voddler, a Sweden-based streaming video
site that utilizes peer-to-peer delivery technology, has raised $8 million in a
new investment round led by Nokia Growth Partners.

Voddler says it served 5
million movies to over 850,000 Scandinavian customers in 2010.

The company
notes that 80% of its catalog of 3,500 titles is free to view, supported by
advertising.

Voddler has now raised a total of about $19 million in financing.
