New York – As part of a wider deal reached between Disney (NYSE: DIS)
and Verizon (NYSE: VZ), Disney’s ESPN networks will become available for live online
viewing by subscribers of Verizon’s FiOS TV service. The deal includes ESPN,
ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN Buzzer Beater, as well as Disney-owned ABC Family, Disney
Channel, Disney XD, Disney Junior, and retransmission from local ABC broadcast
stations.
