Los Angeles – Disney has acquired Togetherville, a social
network for children ages 10 or younger, TechCrunch reports.

Financial terms of
the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2007, Menlo Park, Calif.-based
Togetherville offers parents the ability to monitor their kids’ social
networking, and moderate their contacts, and connections with friends on other
sites, such as Facebook.
