Washington – Five months after launching its Capital Dish
restaurant discount service, The Washington Post on Tuesday rolled out an
expanded version called "The Capital Deal." Aiming to compete more
directly with powerhouses LivingSocial and Groupon, the company now will issue
daily emails featuring discounts of up to 75% at DC-area restaurants, as well
as fashion, entertainment, health and wellness and other businesses.
