London – Just-Eat, a U.K.-based aggregator of local
restaurant menus and online ordering service, has raised $48 million in its
second round of funding.
Greylock Partners and Redpoint Ventures co-led the
investment round; previous backer Index Ventures also participated.
Founded in
2001 in Denmark, the now-London-based company says it now lists 15,000
restaurants in 10 countries.
Just-Eat projects that it will generate over $500
million for its restaurant partners this year. The company will use the funds
for international expansion.
