Prague – KIT digital, a provider of video asset management
software and services, announced on Wednesday that it has acquired Italy-based IP
video platform Polymedia, for a net consideration of $34.4 million.
Polymedia
provides video services to 90 clients, including Telecom Italia, Mediaset, Sky
Germany and Ericsson.
Prague-based KIT said it expects Polymedia to contribute
$19 million in annualized revenue, primarily from software licenses and
maintenance fees.
KIT has also over the past year acquired firms including
Multicast, Brickbox, KickApps and Kyte.
