Arlington Heights, Ill. – The Audit Bureau of Circulations
said on Tuesday that it has modified the requirements for U.S. and Canadian
consumers magazines as replica digital editions. While editorial content and
photography must still be identical between print and digital replica editions,
advertising may now differ. Publishers are no longer required to secure opt-out
confirmation from advertisers if they can’t submit digital files in time, or
simply do not want their ads in digital editions.
