New York – Playmatics, a developer of social and mobile
games, has raised $1 million in new financing from a number of Switzerland-based
angel investors, TechCrunch reported.

New York-based Playmatics is developing a
reality-based title, "Shadow Government," that will cull economic and
sustainability data and use government-modeling software from the Millennium
Institute.

The company has also designed games for AMC’s "Breaking
Bad," and the New York Public Library.
