San Francisco – DoubleDutch, a developer of social business
tools designed to help companies connect their employees and customers, said on
Monday it has raised $1.2 million in seed funding, led by Lightbank.

Other participants included Charles River Ventures, Launch Capital, Accelerator
Ventures, Venture51 and Zig Capital, as well as individual investors such as
Eric di Benedetto, Karl Jacob, Russ Fradin, Thanos Triant, Michael Tanne, Robb
Wilmot, Adam Schwartz, Antoine Blondeau, Anu Nigam and Tim Stevens.

The San
Francisco-based company, which launched its social business tools in March at
the SXSW Interactive Festival, said it will use the funds to expand its
platform, which enables feature like location-based networking, social
interaction and employee mapping.
