Encinitas, Calif. – Super Heat Games, the developer of a
skateboard-themed collectible trading card game, said on Tuesday that it has
closed a $1.6 million first round of funding, led by Diamond Ridge Ventures and
DFJ Frontier.
Encinitas, Calif.-based Super Heat said it will use the funds for
development, marketing and sales of its game, which is set to launch nationally
on May 24.
The company landed a multi-year distribution deal for the game with
Konami Digital Entertainment in February.
