Los Angeles – RealD, a developer of digital 3D cinema projection technology, said on Monday that it has partnered with Korean electronics firm Samsung to develop new 3D display technology for computer monitors and televisions. The displays, which will work with existing RealD 3D cinema glasses, are expected to become available as 23-inch and 27-inch PC monitors by early 2012, and after that for 55-inch televisions.
