Berlin – Peak Games, a publisher of social games in emerging markets, said on Wednesday that it has secured $5 million in its first round of funding, led by Earlybird Venture Capital.
Founded in October 2010, Peak Games is developing localized and culturally-specific social game titles for markets including Turkey, Brazil and the Middle East/North Africa region.
The company counts more than 10 million active players for its titles.
