San Francisco – A hacker group that claimed responsibility for an attack on PBS websites over the weekend, in retaliation for what it says was an unfair documentary about WikiLeaks, has now announced plans to target Sony, CNET reports.

The “LulzSec” hacker group said in a post to its Twitter account that it is launching an operation called “Sownage” (“Sony Ownage”), noting “Hey @Sony, you know we’re making off with a bunch of your internal stuff right now and you haven’t even noticed?”

LulzSec has previously denied responsibility for the recent attack on Sony’s servers, which took the PlayStation Network and Qriocity services offline for a month and has cost the company at least $171 million.
