San Francisco – Bloom Studio, a developer of visual discovery applications, said on Thursday that it has raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding, led by O’Reilly Alpha Tech Ventures and Launch Capital.

Other investors included Betaworks, SV Angel and Stewart Butterfield.

San Francisco-based Bloom Studio’s products include the iPad app Planetary, which offers a visual way to search their digital music collections.

The company will use the funds to hire game graphics and mobile application developers.
