Palo Alto, Calif. – Outfit7, the Palo Alto-based mobile entertainment firm behind the Talking Friends apps, on Thursday named Narry Singh as its executive chairman.

Singh most recently served as chairman and managing partner at The Intellidex Group, a business advisory and venture development firm. He also has led two companies that were acquired, as well as one that went public on the Nasdaq.

“I believe we have only just started to tap the true potential of our Talking Friends franchise,” said Samo Login, the founder and CEO of Outfit7. “We are entering a distinct new chapter of our growth and having a talented, experienced leader like Narry at the helm of our company really gives us the opportunity to take our business to the next level.”

The company also has named Paul Baldwin, previously the vice president of publishing at Gazillion Entertainment and Eidos, as its chief marketing officer.
