Mobile Entertainment Forum chapter MEF North America announced the results of its board elections, with Impact Mobile president and chief executive officer Gary Schwartz re-elected as chairman of the board.  KPMG principal and U.S. Digital Services Leader Sanjaya Krishna similarly remains on the board as vice chair.

“A 552 percent growth in global mobile payments on Cyber Monday clearly demonstrates how market adoption of and consumer engagement with mobile programs and applications has made great strides forward in 2011,” Schwartz said in a statement. “We are truly excited about taking the lead in educating the market, helping our members create a defining matrix of commerce and content options and advancing the privacy and security standards which will underpin it.”
The other MEF North American board members are now as follows:

Jeff Sawyer – vice president, Mobile and Connected Device Solutions, Turner Broadcasting
