Washington, DC – Nclud, a boutique web design agency based in DC, said on Monday it has been acquired by microblogging giant Twitter, where it will join the company’s design team. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Several employees, including co-founders Alex Giron and Martin Ringlein, plan to move to offices in San Francisco, though the company said it also will maintain its current space at 19th and M Streets.

Ringlein, who confirmed the news on Twitter,  also updated his LinkedIn profile with his title as design manager at Twitter.

The news comes just three days after another DC-based tech startup, KikScore, said it had sold its service, platform, technology and certain other assets to technology giant Google.
