Menlo Park, Calif. – Menlo Park-based Facebook on Monday named chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg to its board of directors.
Prior to Facebook, Sandberg previously served as the vice president of global online sales and operations at Google, as well as chief of staff for the U.S. Treasury Department under President Clinton.
She also serves on the boards of the Walt Disney Company, Women for Women International, the Center for Global Development and V-Day.
